Simple 2 Step Link Building Strategy For Easy Rankings

The SEO gurus and professional search engine companies will have you believe that getting on the first page of Google for the keyword of your choice is an incredibly complicated process that takes a lot of specialized knowledge (and a pretty good understanding of higher math).

Thankfully, that isn’t true at all. Link building SEO is actually quite simple. Here’s what you need to know:

Step One – Write A Good Title That Includes The Keyword Early

First, you need to know what keyword or keyphrase you want to rank for. Once you have that term, simply include it as early as possible in the title. Take a look at this article for example. Link Building SEO is my keyphrase in this case and it just happens to make up the first three words of my title.

I am also using the same phrase in my content. When possible I try to include it somewhere in the first 50 to 75 words of my article or blog post.

Step Two – Build Incoming Links With Your Keyword In The Anchor Text

The next step is to start building links and use your keyword as part of the anchor text of the link. Here are some of the things I may do to get this article you are reading right now to rank.

Social Bookmarking – I submit the article to several of my favorite social bookmarking sites using my keyword in the title of the bookmark.
Blog Commenting – Next, I will find a few blogs that talk about SEO and link building and leave a well – thought out comment. To get my keyword in the anchor text of the link, I will simply add it after my name while leaving the comment.
Article Writing – Last but not least, I will write another related article and link to this one from the author resource box of the second article.

Since the term I chose isn’t super competitive, this should be enough to get the article to rank. I will wait a week or two and then come back and check my rankings in Google. If I’m not on page one yet, I will go back and write another article or two and submit it to a different article directory.

That’s really all there is too it. No complicated math involved and the whole process is rather simple, yet effective. Link building SEO doesn’t have to be complicated, all you need to do is follow these two simple steps.
